Irritative effect

The electric processes on cell membranes can only match with low-frequency electric variations from outside; with high-frequency fields they can only match if the high-frequency fields are modulated with low-frequency (impulse sequence).

Sensitive cells are e.g. nerves, muscles, glands and sense cells.
